Men’s Health The average man pays less attention to his health than the average woman. Compared to women, men are more likely to drink alcohol, use tobacco, make risky choices, and not see a doctor for regular checkups. Men are assailed by the diseases that can affect anyone—heart disease, stroke, diabetes, cancer, depression… But they also have unique issues such as prostate cancer and benign prostate enlargement.

Many of the major health risks that men face can be prevented with a healthy lifestyle: regular exercise, a healthy diet, not smoking, stress reduction, and alcohol consumption in the moderate range (no more than two drinks a day) if at all. Regular checkups and screening tests can spot disease early, when it is easiest to treat.

So, don’t be an average man — get on board with protecting your health today.

Chronic diseases and conditions—such as heart disease, cancer and diabetes—are the leading causes of death for women. Thirty-eight percent of women suffer from one or more chronic diseases, compared to 30 percent of men.  Women’s health should be a big focus in any female’s life. That’s why it’s important for women to understand the advantages of getting well woman checks regularly. These checks can in some cases even save lives. If you want to find out if you have any type of medical condition, a wellness exam can give you the information you need to take action.
For many people, the pursuit of a healthy work-life balance seems like an impossible goal. With so many of us torn between juggling working from home, heavy workloads, managing relationships and family responsibilities, and squeezing in outside interests, it’s no surprise that more than one in four Americans describe themselves as “super stressed.” And that’s not balanced—or healthy.   Not to mention the strain that improperly set up home offices can have on one’s body. When you are balanced and happy, you will be more productive at home and at work, you may take fewer sick days, and are more likely to stay in your job.  In this webinar you will discover a few practical steps we can all take to loosen the grip that stress and poor posture has on us and win back the balance in our lives.

The Restaurant Survival Guide Place your food order from a fast-food drive-thru, a local diner, or a fine dining restaurant, and you are taking a leap of faith by giving control to a handful of people who have no invested interest in your health and wellbeing. The average American eats in a restaurant 4.2 times a week spending roughly half their food budget and restaurants are getting increasingly savvier about getting you to part with more of your dollars. This is one of the big reasons why over 60% of America is either obese or overweight and we are seeing type II diabetes amongst our children which used to be called adult-onset diabetes.

Restaurant portions tend to be oversized and are filled with hidden fats and ingredients which are hard to monitor and are harmful to your health. There are all sorts of sneaky things that restaurants do to make us want to eat more of their food as well as spend more money. Staying home isn’t always the solution, you have options. In this dynamic webinar discover how to eat at restaurants and maintain a healthy lifestyle.
